
Clobetasol
topical is used to treat the itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling,
inflammation, and discomfort of various scalp and skin conditions, including
psoriasis (a skin disease in which red, scaly patches form on some areas of the
body) and eczema (a skin disease that causes the skin to be dry and itchy and
to sometimes develop red, scaly rashes). Clobetasol is in a class of
medications called corticosteroids. It works by activating natural substances
in the skin to reduce swelling, redness, and itching.
Topical
gentamicin is used in adults and children 1 year of age and older to treat
skin infections caused by certain bacteria. Topical gentamicin is in a class of
medications called antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria that cause
infections.
Topical
miconazole is used to treat tinea corporis(ringworm; fungal skin infection
that causes a red scaly rash on different parts of the body), tinea cruris (jock
itch; fungal infection of the skin in the groin or buttocks), and tinea pedis
(athlete's foot; fungal infection of the skin on the feet and between the
toes). Miconazole is in a class of antifungal medications called imidazoles. It
works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause infection.
